Counselor Apprentice Program 2024
Sessions 1-3 Tuition: $3,700 (Total)
Session 4 Tuition: $660
It’s great fun being a camper, but it’s even more fun being a camp counselor! After all, as a camp counselor, you can help others grow and learn while having a lot of fun.
The CAP will prepare you for all of the aspects involved in being a counselor and give you the chance to become a junior staff member for the following year. This comprehensive camp will teach you about building relationships, understanding and implementing policies and procedures, working with medical and special needs, and giving CPR. Additional topical workshops and seminars, such as preventing bullying, round out a potential counselor’s understanding of the needs of campers. CAP participants will divide their time between classes, physical conditioning, and assisting in the camps.
We know that excellent camp counselors are what make our camps so special, and it all comes full circle with the CAP, a special program to teach exceptional people how to make these camps so special!
Note: On the first day of camp, the counselor apprentice is given a choice of three specialties; no guarantees can be made regarding placement.
