Campers will learn how law enforcement professionals solve crimes and meet real professional Law Enforcement agents. Campers will learn about the legal requirements in obtaining evidence and maintaining proper chains of custody. Additionally, campers will learn about approaching and handcuffing a suspect and the legal requirements to effectuate an arrest. Campers will learn communication skills, including writing formal reports and testifying in court. Campers will get to use our judge's bench and witness stand to simulate a criminal court case.

Additionally, campers will also discover the world of forensic science through simulated crime scene investigations that will include dusting of fingerprints, crime scene measuring, diagramming and photography. Campers will also learn how to conduct various forensic evidence examination which will include, blood spatter analysis, handwriting analysis, tire and tool marks, DNA fingerprinting, the study of hair and fibers & textiles, the meaning, manner, mechanism, cause, and time of death and forensic anthropology.

Campers will also learn about the various careers in law enforcement and hear from the professionals in those fields.

Campers will take home their final crime scene diagram as well as the dusted and lifted fingerprint from the crime scene and a copy of their inked fingerprints.
