Pokémon have invaded Hofstra Summer Camps! In this exciting course, young campers and Pokémon trainers alike will be taking part in daily STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects revolving around the fantastic world of Pokémon! Campers will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology including 3D Printers, Photo Editing software, Game Design software, and much more as they design their own Pokémon characters, cards, and games, learn about Pokémon types and statistics, create fossil and evolution stones, and even 3D print a real custom Pokéball! As campers share their excitement for the world of Pokémon with their classmates and newfound friends, they are at the same time making important connections to the real world around them, becoming naturally excited about learning, and coming away with several finished projects to share with family
