Build and program real working robots! In this course, our camper engineers will learn the fundamentals of robot engineering as they program their robots to move, spin, throw, react, and compete before their very eyes.

In Session 1, campers will use the renowned LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics kits to build and program their robots. Campers will work in small teams of two to four, strengthening their teamwork and cooperation skills. Together, they will program their robots to see, hear and perceive their surroundings using the light, touch and ultrasonic sensors.

In Session 2, campers will use the cutting edge Sphero Robotics kits (the same technology used in the Star Wars BB-8 droid) to program their motorized robots with custom remote controls, reactive collision detection, color lighting effects and much more!

Then in Session 3, campers will use the professional, industry grade LabVIEW robotics software in conjunction with LEGO Mindstorms to build and program advanced robots. Campers will put their newly acquired skills to work in exciting class challenges, including obstacle courses, races, and much more. Expand your Robotics skills further each Session, and even earn a professional, personalized Robotics portfolio for completing all three Robotics courses over the summer!
