Career Potential

Students with a major in dance graduate with a combination of classroom instruction and professional experiences that are highly regarded in today's competitive performing arts industry. Among 2015-2016 Hofstra graduates who majored in dance, 100% of survey respondents reported that within one year of graduation they were employed and/or attending or planning to attend graduate school. Among those Hofstra graduates who majored in the arts and humanities and who reported salary, the median annual self-reported salary was $38,000.
