The MS in Health Informatics program welcomed two leading experts, Professors Edward Shortliffe and Vimla Patel, to share their thoughts on the challenges facing the booming health informatics field. Earlier in the day, Professors Shortliffe and Patel, Dr. Michael Oppenheim, and Ronald Nair, Esq. joined Hofstra Vice Provost Robert Brinkmann, Dean Holly Seirup, Dr. Eytan Behiri, and Professors Hak J. Kim, S.S. Valenti, Edward Coffield, and Corinne Kyriacou for a review of Hofstra's Health Informatics program to identify opportunities for growth and advancement. Event organized by Dr. Khalid Moidu, director of the graduate program in Health Informatics.
