Master of Public Health In Focus: Nuzhat Quaderi, MPH '14

Nuzhat Quaderi is a 2014 alum of Hofstra University’s Master of Public Health program and a public health enthusiast. Nuzhat’s passion for health equity and community health has led her to work in roles that address health disparities and the social determinants of health among disenfranchised communities across Long Island.

Nuzhat currently serves as a program manager at Northwell Health Solutions, the care management agency for the Northwell Health System. A strong believer in the power of community, solidarity, and advocacy, prior to her engagement with Northwell, Nuzhat served as a project coordinator for the Nassau Queens PPS and a community organizer and communications director for ERASE Racism.

During her time as a graduate at Hofstra, Nuzhat also had the privilege of serving as president for the Society of Public Health Advocates (SOPHA). Having an overabundance of Hofstra Pride, Nuzhat is more than just a little enthusiastic to be serving as president for PHAA!
