Online MBA – 38 credits*

Offered through the AACSB-accredited Zarb School of Business, our online MBA program is ranked among Princeton Review’s Top 25 programs U.S. News and World Report’s Top 100 online MBA programs in the nation, making it the highest ranked such program in the New York metro area.

Students enter in September as part of a small cohort that completes the program together in 20 months. A flexible, non-cohort option is also available which allows students to complete the program within 5 years.

Hofstra’s online MBA program offers two concentrations: strategic business management and strategic healthcare management. Courses, which last for seven weeks, are taught by our full-time faculty and industry leading experts.

Waiver from the GMAT or GRE exams will be considered for qualified students with progressive work experience. You will also have access to the resources of Zarb’s Graduate Business Career Services center.

In addition to interaction with professors and fellow students through online discussions, the program includes in-person residencies to ensure students receive personal attention and to foster a sense of community. Drawing students from around the country and from a wide range of industries, every course will bring you into contact with new ideas and perspectives.

Today, all business is international. In recognition of that, Hofstra’s online MBA program includes a 12-day Global Practicum that exposes students to how different types of companies operate in other countries. Recent trips have taken students to South Africa, Japan, South Korea, India, Middle East and China.

*To be eligible for the 38-credit program, you must have qualifying credits from a business undergraduate degree at an AACSB accredited institution. Qualifying credits include undergraduate courses taken within the previous five years, with a grade of B or better, in Economics, Legal Aspects of Business and a specific undergraduate business major. Without these qualifying credits, you will be able to complete the MBA within 45 credits.
