Groupe Sup de Co Montpellier Business School, a Grande École, is heir to a long tradition of teaching based on the needs of businesses and markets. Founded in 1897 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montpellier, the school has succeeded in continually refining its specialized instruction in the management sciences to adapt its programs to changes in local and global economic environments. With triple accreditation from AACSB International, AMBA, and EFMD-EQUIS, the business school attracts more than 300 international students each year. Financial Times ranked Montpellier in the top 50 in its listing of Best International Master's Programs.
Location
Located along the shores of the Mediterranean in the south of France, Montpellier is a city with a rich past, a vibrant cultural life, and a youthful feel. Less than 200 miles from Barcelona and 315 miles from Milan, Montpellier enjoys a superb climate with 300 days of sunshine per year. A popular location for students from France and around the world, the city has nearly 70,000 students – one in four residents is a student – and was the only French city to appear among the 45 "Places to Go in 2012." Additionally, Montpellier is a city rich in culture, with 55 entertainment venues, 26 museums and art galleries, 49 libraries, over a dozen festivals, and numerous major international expositions.

Academic Requirements
Students should have attained sophomore standing.
Credit System
Each course at Montpellier is equivalent through the European Credit Transfer System to a 3-credit course at Hofstra.
Housing
Montpellier has a service dedicated to guiding students in their housing search. The search assistance (CROUS) gathers private student residencies and off-campus housing for students.
Peer Support and Integration Activities
World Connexion is an organization that helps international students settle into life at Montpellier Business School by organizing special events to encourage socialization with local students and allow students to discover France. Upon request, Montpellier students will arrange for transportation from the airport or train stations to housing accommodations. Orientation sessions at the beginning of the semester provide information on teaching and assessment methods, and student life. The International Students Office provides assistance with administrative procedures.
Visa and Insurance Requirements
All students are responsible for obtaining the necessary visa. For more information, students should visit the U.S. Department of State at www.state.gov for links to each country's embassy. All students must be covered by a health insurance plan. Non-European students staying in France for more than three months are required to register and contribute to the French Social Security system; the price for 2015 was €215, approximately $265. All students are also required to obtain housing insurance.
Program Cost
Students pay their regular tuition to Hofstra University.
