At Hofstra, psychology gives you a deep understanding of human behavior and a strong liberal arts foundation that prepares you for careers in fields such as advertising, business, education, journalism, law, technology, and the health professions. You’ll study core areas of psychology while exploring applied topics such as health psychology, industrial-organizational psychology, and psychology and the law.

With accelerated program options and extensive opportunities for research, internships, and interdisciplinary study, the program offers exceptional flexibility. You’ll learn from more than 30 full-time faculty across 20-plus specializations; engage with guest experts through colloquia; and participate in clubs such as Psi Chi, Psychology Club, and Neuroscience Club, all while building skills that translate to graduate study or a wide range of professional paths.
