The 26th Annual Hofstra Gala will honored Lawrence G. Smith, MD, MACP, founding dean of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. The event took place on Thursday, May 5, 2022.
Dr. Smith’s leadership and vision created a revolutionary school of medicine – one that has become the envy of and model for all other medical schools. Dr. Larry Smith is tremendously deserving of this honor as he’s spent the last 13 years creating an impressive immersive education for the next generation of medical doctors. This important event typically raises more than $1 million for scholarships.
