The Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) - ranked in the top 16% nationwide of non-PhD granting engineering schools by US News World Report - is home to Hofstra's computer science and engineering departments. The DeMatteis School is distinguished by offering you hands-on research experience in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, valuable pre-professional, on-the-job experience, and collaborative relationships with professors who are leaders in their fields.
The DeMatteis School offers undergraduate and graduate programs as well as experiential learning opportunities in a variety of areas through our Engineering and Computer Science departments.

About the School
The DeMatteis School currently serves approximately 785 students pursuing bachelor's degrees and 60 pursuing master’s degrees.
