- First-Gen College Celebration 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Student Center Atrium THIS IS THE MAIN EVENT! Stop by to grab free swag, get your picture taken, learn about campus resources and student involvement opportunities, and get your FREE T-Shirt, while supplies last! We’ll be unveiling the new First-Gen Pride shirt that you all voted on earlier this semester. Don’t miss out!
- First-Gen Family Dinner 6:30 - 8 p.m. Amsterdam House, The Netherlands Complex It’s our monthly Family Dinner! Get free home-cooked food and hang out with your first-gen fam! This month, our chefs are Professor Kris Lotier (Writing Studies and Rhetoric), Professor Kelly McMasters (English Literature), and Dr. Merry McVey-Noble, Director of the Student Counseling Center. If so, check out this helpful program about how to control your financial fate and set yourself up for success in the future. This session could literally save you thousands of dollars. A representative from Student Financial Services will also be on hand to answer your questions about financial aid, loans, and repayment.
