Among 2022-2023 Hofstra graduates who majored in political science, 97% of survey respondents reported that they were employed and/or attending or planning to attend graduate school within a year of graduation. Of those students who reported employment, 96% said they secured their position within six months of graduation.

Additionally, employment opportunities for those in political science is projected to grow by 3% between 2023 and 2033, which is as fast as average.
Alumni outcomes data is based on the results of Hofstra’s annual Alumni Outcomes Survey and other reliable sources. Of the 1,261 undergraduate students who graduated between August 2022-May 2023, data was collected via surveys and other reliable sources, resulting in knowledge about the outcomes for 84% of the 2022-2023 undergraduate alumni.
