Residence Life

Residence Hall Association

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is a unique student-run organization that exists to improve the quality of life of Hofstra residential students by offering social and educational programs based on students' interests, as well as promoting a safe, supportive, and welcoming community. Part of the RHA mission statement is to aid the Office of Residence Life in maintaining and improving living conditions for all residential students. With this in mind, the Residence Hall Association is a body that the University looks to for input on important policy matters relating to the residence halls.

RHA traditionally hosts events such as Wiener Welcome, Hofstra Halloweentown, Big Bucks Bingo, Siblings Day, Silent Disco, Roll with RHA, and a few other events in addition to tabling in the Student Center. Each building also has its own Residence Council, which plans programs for their respective halls geared towards their specific population.
