Learn About the Program
Located in the center of Seoul, Korea University Business School (KUBS) aims to educate students and practitioners to become creative global business leaders who demonstrate social responsibility and create sustainable value. Ranked first in Korea and seventh in Asia, KUBS is the first business school in Korea accredited by both AACSB International and EFMD-EQUIS. Its MBA received top evaluation for five consecutive years by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the National Research Foundation of Korea. Korea University Business School has 87 full-time faculty members, the largest business school faculty in Korea, and boasts state-of-the-art academic facilities. KUBS hosts 400 international students annually. The school has more than 37,000 alumni, with the largest number of CEOs and CPAs in Korea among its graduates, including Lee Myung-Bak, former president of the Republic of Korea.
Location
Seoul is a city rich in history and tradition. The city was founded in 1392 when it became the capital of the Choson Dynasty. It is now the capital city of South Korea and traces of the former dynasty are still very much a part of the city's landscape. With exciting modern architecture and a cosmopolitan community, Seoul is the political, cultural, commercial, financial, educational, and recreational center of South Korea. It is home to major corporations, banks, government offices, leading schools and universities, theaters, and entertainment facilities. Seoul also offers a rich variety of tourist attractions and events.

Academic Requirements
Students should have sophomore standing.
Credit System
The credit system is the same as Hofstra. Almost all courses are 3 credits. For full-time undergraduates, 12-19 credits per semester are required.
Housing
Housing is available on and off campus.
Peer Support and Integration Activities
A university-wide, mandatory, three-day exchange student orientation is held immediately prior to the start of the semester and includes course registration, immigration, a campus tour, and housing orientation. A tour of Seoul is also provided. A welcome party is hosted by KUBS faculty, staff, and students. The Korea University Buddy Assistant Program matches international students with Korea University students. Korea University also provides extensive opportunities for students to learn the Korean language, visit leading Korean companies, and participate in its global internship program.
Visa and Insurance Requirements
All students are responsible for obtaining the necessary visa. For more information, students should visit the U.S. Department of State at www.state.gov for links to each country's embassy and check with the nearest local Korean consulate. Students need a "Certificate of Admission" from KUBS in order to obtain a D-2 visa. The "Certificate of Admission" will be sent to the student's home school after all required documents are received by KUBS (only those students who hold a D-2 visa will be allowed to study at KUBS). Medical insurance must be purchased before a student's arrival in Korea.
Program Cost
Students pay regular tuition to Hofstra University.
