Service Requests

Facilities and Operations serves the 240-acre campus 24 hours a day to insure safety, readiness and accessibility. Hofstra administration, staff and faculty should request non-emergency services using the Facilities and Operations Work Request. For facilities emergencies, contact the Facilities and Operations Service Desk at (516) 463-6619 for further assistance.

Contact the Facilities and Operations office at (516) 463-6619 to report an urgent (facilities issues affecting access, comfort or safety) issue to expedite resolution.  Hofstra staff reports all maintenance or ad-hoc services requests using the WebTMA Work Order Form.  To access the form, log in to the Hofstra portal and choose the WebTMA application from the Application menu. For assistance, contact the Facilities and Operations Work Controls staff at (516) 463-6619 or review the Submit Your Work Request in WebTMA in the Forms/Facilities and Operations menu on the Hofstra Portal.

The Facilities and Operations Work Request Form is also available, for a limited time, as we transition to the new system, and is reviewed within 24 hours of receipt during regular business hours. Please allow at least(3) business days prior to any time-scheduled task for proper coordination and scheduling.  Requests may require additional preparation time, and Facilities and Operations will attempt to provide needed support whenever possible.  All requests for maintenance may be deemed urgent if required within 24 hours,  and contact with the Facilities and Operations Help Desk at x36619 is required. Requests should include administrative approval and the appropriate Hofstra account budget number.

For Hofstra Students: Students may notice issues or problems that they want to report to any Hofstra staff member.  Resident Students who want to report an issue in their Residence Hall should visit the Residential Life website or contact the Office of Residential Life at (516) 463-6930.
