A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Sports Management, as part of Hofstra Summer Camps’s Precollegiate Summer Academy, offers high school students a one-week program on sports business. Students will begin the program with a foundational examination of sports business history. Throughout the program, students will immerse themselves in critical sports industry segments, such as Sports Marketing & Sales, Sports & Digital Media, Facility and Event Management, and Player Performance and Data Analytics. Students will learn about the sports industry through interactive lectures, real-world case studies, group discussions, and activities to help pave their path toward a future in sports business.

About the Instructor
Dr. Meindl has taught sports business at the undergraduate and graduate levels for over 20 years. He has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Marketing, International Business, and Legal Studies in the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra since 2011. As an academic and practitioner in Sports Business, Dr. Meindl has worked with countless sports properties and brands, from start-ups to Formula 1 race teams, providing strategic and tactical expertise for those seeking to connect with the sports consumer. A thought leader in sports business, he is an industry pioneer, creating ideas and solutions to meet the challenges of today's changing sports landscape. Dr. Meindl is a former athlete and college head coach. John believes in the power of sports and using it as tool to create and build connection and community.

There is an additional fee for transportation for one-week precollegiate camps.

Schedule: This is a full day program in Sports Management.
