TESOL & ESL Education
Regular Tuition: $780 per Week
Week 1: June 29 - July 3 (*Camp is closed Friday, July 3)
This introductory TESOL program offers students an inside look into the field of teaching English to multilingual learners. Participants will learn what the TESOL major includes, why ESL educators play a critical role, and how teachers support learners academically, linguistically, and socially. Throughout the week, students will explore foundational teaching methods, classroom strategies, and the use of project-based learning to create engaging and supportive lessons. They will design collaborative activities, analyze real classroom scenarios, and reflect on the qualities of effective educators. By the end of the program, each participant will create and present a mini lesson for English learners, demonstrating how they would plan and teach it using the strategies learned during the week.
