Note:
A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Outdoor Adventure Education Challenge 2019

For Campers Entering Grades 6-11
Session 4: August 15 - August 46


Take the Challenge and bring your high energy for an action-packed week! You will develop teambuilding and outdoor skills while you: Activities include:

  • Navigate our Low ropes course where you will practice problem solving and leadership skills.
  • Traverse our High Elements Ropes Course: whether it is the Giant Swing Shot, Flying Squirrel, Catwalk, or High Multi-Vine (to name a few!), campers will use new skills to support each other and step outside their comfort zone in their rise to the top!
  • Learn about survival, building shelters, making fire with a bow and drill, finding your way with map and compass and geocaching with GPS
  • Learn canoeing skills

Schedule: This is a full day program in Outdoor Education Adventure Challenge.
This program will take place at Nassau BOCES' Brookville and Caumsett Environmental Education Centers.
Transportation will be provided between Hofstra and Nassau BOCES facilities.
