A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

Hofstra University High Performance Training Week

The high-performance training week is specifically designed for players competing in or striving to compete in USTA Regional, Sectional, and National Tournaments, and those interested in playing middle school, high-school tennis, college tennis and beyond, as well as players at any level who want to be the best they can be. Hofstra University will be directing the week’s programming and will include staff of current and former NCAA collegiate players. The week will feature Athletic and Performance training, high intensity drills, footwork, mental toughness training, point strategy, video analysis, and match play. Players entered will also have a chance to compete in a USTA sanctioned junior tournament that will be held on site at Hofstra University the same week.

The Daily Program Includes:
  • Stretching and warm-up exercises
  • Drilling and Instruction – live ball hitting, technique development and improvement
  • Point and match play
  • Tennis specific cross-training and mental toughness training.

Hofstra University Tennis Camp utilizes the university’s Outdoor Tennis Center, that houses 8 seperate courts. Players will also have use of Hofstra's premiere dining facilities, indoor heated Olympic-sized swimming pool, and fully equipped infirmary staffed by registered nurses.

With expert instruction and a motivating, positive learning environment, Hofstra Summer Camps provide the ultimate opportunity for learning skills and gaining confidence while having fun and making friends.

There is an additional fee for transportation for one-week sports academy camps.
