Kathleen Stanley is currently Senior Vice President at City National Bank. With more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, Kathleen was responsible for the sales of cash management products and services for Capital One's Northeast Commercial Bank. Prior to joining Capital One, Kathleen launched the Treasury Management Department for both Empire National Bank (2008-2010) and State Bank of Long Island (2004-2008) and worked as a treasury sales advisor for Bank of New York (1991-2004).
In 2009 she was recognized as one of Long Island’s 40 rising stars under the age of 40; and in 2007, as a Woman of Achievement in Banking and Finance by the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women. In 2012 Kathleen was a Butterfly Award recipient at the Inaugural Girls Incorporated of Long Island Butterfly Awards Dinner and most recently as Woman of the Year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island.
Kathleen has a BBA in Marketing with a minor in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University. She is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
Kathleen is on the President’s Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island and isPresident of Hofstra University’s Zarb Business School Alumni Association. She is an avid supporter of the NSLIJ Katz Women’s Hospital and sits on their Commerce and Industry Committee.
David Katzman '06 is a Senior Associate at Forest Hills Financial Group, a full service financial services firm with over $2billion in Client assets. David Specializes in financial, pension and insurance planning for professionals and small business. Prior to joining Forest Hills Financial Group, he co-founded Millennium Children's Therapy in Huntington, NY with his wife Faith, who still operates the thriving practice today.
In 2009, after volunteering to mentor some students transitioning to the workforce, David became involved in many student focused programs at the Zarb School of Business, including the Zarb Alumni Association's Career Series. In 2010 he became Director of Services for the Zarb Alumni Association, expanding the reach of the Career Series, Alumni Advisor Program, and alumni networking events. In 2012, David became Vice President of the Zarb Alumni Association, where he is tasked with increasing student and alumni engagement both on and off campus.
In 2013, he successfully launched a rotational internship focused on commercial lending, giving six students per semester an opportunity to learn all about the commercial banking process from origination to close. As a result of this program, 5 internships and 2 full time positions were offered to participating students.
David graduated from Hofstra University's Executive MBA program in 2006. He is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Risk Management Association's Long Island chapter, and volunteers at the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
