The Office of Student Employment connects undergraduate and graduate students with meaningful work opportunities across the Hofstra community. On-campus employment allows students to gain valuable professional experience, apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings, and earn income while pursuing their academic goals.

Through their work experiences, students develop transferable skills such as communication, collaboration, organization, and time management. They also build relationships with peers, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, fostering personal growth and professional readiness that extends beyond graduation.

Student employment opportunities are available across campus through both University-funded positions and the Federal Work-Study program.

To apply, follow the instructions provided in each job posting. Many departments require a résumé and/or an interview as part of the hiring process to identify candidates whose skills and experience best match the position.
