Drama & Dance

Facilities

Drama and dance students perform in the campus’s two renovated theaters: the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, a large proscenium theater that seats more than 1,100, and the more intimate, 200-seat Joan and Donald Schaeffer Black Box Theater.

Students learn, work, and perform in state-of-the-art teaching spaces that include four beautiful dance studios and a multipurpose space used for rehearsals. Students also engage in academic dance courses such as kinesiology, dance history, and teaching methods.

Costume and scene shops on campus are used to build all costumes and sets required for performances. High-quality documentation of performances is provided by professional photographers and videographers.
