Dr. Grant Saff, invited as a Visiting Research Associate in the Departament de Geografia at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, June 2015.

Dr. Grant Saff, Professor and Chair of the Department of Global Studies and Geography, was invited as a Visiting Research Associate in the Departament de Geografia at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), during June/July, 2015. While at the university Dr. Saff presented a seminar to students and faculty titled, “Globalization and the Job Market for Recent Graduates: Lessons from the United States.” He will also be presenting a paper at a conference organized by the International Urban Fellows Association of Johns Hopkins University (Institute for Health and Social Policy), held at the School of Management, University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. The theme of the conference is “Healthy and Sustainable Cities in a Challenging World” and the presentation is titled, “Globalization and the Deterritorialization of Academic Space.”
