Dr. Grant Saff, invited to give a talk at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona on November 21, 2016

Dr. Grant Saff, Professor and Chair of the Department of Global Studies and Geography, gave an invited presentation to geography faculty and students at the Departament de Geografia, Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), titled “The Pragmatic Dilemma in Urban Economic Development and Planning,” November 21, 2016.

Dr Saff was a visiting faculty member in the Department in Summer 2015 and has previously given a number of presentations in the Department, including last Fall. He has also been conducting ongoing research into planning and neighborhood change in the Raval neighborhood of Barcelona.
