Global Studies and Geography is very pleased to welcome Dr. Fengxia Wang, Visiting Professor from the Tourism College of Hainan University, China, for the 2014-15 academic year - August 2014

Our Department is very pleased to welcome Dr. Fengxia “Sarah” Wang, who will be a Visiting Professor in our Department in the forthcoming academic year. Dr. Wang is currently a Professor at the Tourism College of Hainan University, PRC. She received her Ph.d. in 2003 in Geography (Geographical Information Systems and Human Geography) from East China Normal University. While at Hofstra, she will be working with Dr. Grant Saff on joint research on strategies to promote tourism in Hainan.
