Internship Opportunities
The M.S.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies accepts applications from those with a variety of past experiences, as there is no particular bachelor’s degree required. The program is made up of current higher education professionals interested in advancing with master’s level preparation, as well as those who enter the program straight from undergraduate programs or other career settings.
Students with little to no experience working in the higher education sector are encouraged to take on internships on Hofstra’s campus and/or apply for graduate assistant positions in various departments. Interested students should visit Hofstra’s Job Opportunities site to learn more about these positions, updated throughout the year. Students who have been accepted to the M.S.Ed. program and have matriculated may browse student opportunities.
Additionally, students may use these internship experiences to fulfill the APS 351 independent study course.
