How To Apply

Applications may be obtained by contacting the Frank G. Zarb Graduate Programs Office at Hofstra University. Additional applications may be obtained by contacting the Office of Graduate Admissions at Hofstra University; telephone: 1-866-GRADHOF; or via e-mail.

All applications are considered on the basis of their own merits and must be complete before a decision can be made. A completed application consists of:

  • the Graduate Student Advisement Record (application form), including information sheet, labels and nonrefundable fee;

  • official transcripts from all colleges attended (undergraduate and graduate);

  • a personal essay or statement of professional objectives;

  • a current resume;

  • two letters of recommendation; and

  • scores on the GMAT or GRE

Applications are self-managed, and the student is solely responsible for making sure that letters of recommendation, professional statements, resumes and other documents ire received by the Office of Graduate Programs, Zarb School of Business.

It is strongly suggested that the student assemble all parts of the application (including letters of recommendation, but excluding GMAT scores and transcripts) in sealed envelopes, and submit the completed application package to the Office of Graduate Programs. The Zarb School of Business has a process of rolling admissions. However, prospective students are encouraged to submit completed applications well in advance of the two start dates for the program.
