Sondra Rudin Mack New American Garden

This garden, designed by Wolfgang Oehme and James van Sweden in 1991, celebrates their new style of landscape design.  The garden showcases the use of ornamental grasses and herbaceous perennials often in large drifts to attain a bold and romantic feeling.  The New American Garden also contains a podium with a map and plant inventory to guide a visitor’s experience.
