The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a network of free services provided by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (formerly Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield) to help full-time employees and their household members cope with issues experienced in everyday life. Services include short-term confidential counseling and wellness resources.

Hofstra employees have free access to the Fitness Center, including group exercise classes, cardio and strength training equipment, basketball hoops, and indoor track. The Hofstra University Museum of Art advances knowledge and understanding through experiences with authentic works of art in varied media dating from the ancient to the contemporary. The Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center at Hofstra University includes a fully licensed early childhood program and four clinics:
