New Residents
Incoming undergraduate, graduate, law, and medical students are assigned on a first- come, first-served basis based on the student’s housing application submission date.
Returning Residents
Students who wish to return to housing for the upcoming academic year will be required to participate in the Room Selection Process.
Study Abroad Students
Students planning to study abroad beginning in the fall semester do not need to participate in the spring room selection process.

Room Changes
The Office of Residence Life does its best to place students with compatible roommates and suitemates.
