Hofstra receives third grant for the MSEd in Special Education

  • For students with New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education (birth-grade 2), Childhood Education (grades 1-6), and/or Childhood Special Education (grades 1-6)
  • Graduates are prepared for NYS certification in childhood special education, and teaching students with severe and multiple disabilities

Hofstra launches M.S.Ed. in Special Education Early Childhood Intervention (Birth-Grade 2)

  • For students with New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education (birth-grade 2), Childhood Education (grades 1-6), and/or Childhood Special Education (grades 1-6).
  • This program leads to New York state initial/professional certification in students with disabilities at the early childhood level. This program also fulfills the education requirement for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Outstanding prospective students seeking a master's degree in early childhood special education are eligible for substantial scholarship funds.
