"Catalans Want to Vote" guest lecture given by Dr. Antònia Casellas of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain – April 15, 2015
A stimulating and well attended presentation was given by Professor Antònia Casellas, a noted Catalan urban planner, this past Wed., April 15th. The talk entitled, "Catalans want to vote: crisis, politics and identity in Spain," explored the emergence of regional national identity, analyzing the case of Catalonia (Spain). This presentation was co-sponsored by the Department of Global Studies and Geography and European Studies.
