SPEAKER SERIES: Directing, Producing, and Writing for TV and FILM
Andy Fickman is an award-winning director, writer and producer. His film directing credits include Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 starring Kevin James; Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei; Disney films Race to Witch Mountain and Game Plan starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson; and She’s the Man starring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum. Additionally, Fickman produced, alongside Todd Garner, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.
Through his production company Oops Doughnuts Productions, Fickman recently directed and produced the fourth season of the hit Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie. His additional television directing credits include The Odd Couple, Recovery Road, Hellcats, Aliens in America and Austin & Ally.
Fickman co-developed, directed and produced the stage version of Heathers: The Musical, and he produced the romantic comedy Jewtopia, a feature adaptation of the off-Broadway play, which he directed.
