Student Leadership and Engagement
The Office of Student Leadership and Engagement creates intentional co-curricular student experiences. Through our programs, activities and involvement opportunities, we produce socially conscious, critically minded and globally aware student leaders. Through active and engaged participation in on and off-campus events, activities and organizations, OSLE empowers students to enhance their educational experience. This is accomplished through immersive programming that includes educational and cultural programs, lectures, conferences, socials and other interactive opportunities that complement the educational mission of the University.
New Student Programs
Through our new student programming, OSLE seeks to ease the transition of new undergraduate students into the academic and co-curricular communities of the University as well as the campus culture and traditions. There are a variety of opportunities for new students, like New Student Orientation, Welcome Week, The Discovery Program as well as year-long programming like our Explore Next Door (END) trips that bring students into the city! Fraternity and Sorority Life
Fraternity and Sorority members seek to create an inclusive environment that challenges students to develop into leaders who uphold the values, oaths and commitments of their collegiate fraternal organization. Members value ongoing relationships with alumni, volunteers, campus administrators and the surrounding community in order to create purposeful undergraduate experiences that foster a commitment to service and lifetime membership.
