The Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching, and Assessment is pleased to announce four micro-grant opportunities designed to support faculty in advancing their teaching practice and in engaging with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). These grants provide funding, structured support, and a collaborative community to help faculty explore meaningful questions about student learning, develop innovative and inclusive pedagogies, and contribute to the growing body of scholarly work on teaching and learning in higher education.
Each micro-grant has been developed with a specific focus:
- The Scholarly Teaching and Learning Advancement Grant supports faculty in piloting innovative, research-based projects that enhance student learning and advance teaching excellence.
- The Inclusive Teaching and Learning Transformation Grant supports the development of year-long projects that advance inclusive and equitable teaching practices across departments and programs. Co-sponsored by the Office of Equity and Inclusion.
- The Open Educational Resource (OER) Development Grant supports access to high-quality learning materials through the adoption, adaptation, or creation of open or library-licensed resources. Co-sponsored by the University Library.
- The Advancing First-Generation Learning Grant supports projects that enhance learning experiences for courses with high enrollment of first-generation college students. Co-sponsored by the Office of First-Generation Support and Engagement.
