To promote excellence in education, fellowship among educators, and recognize outstanding contributions to the field.
History:
Founded in 1911, KDP is one of the oldest discipline-specific honor societies in the United States.
Membership:
Open to students and professionals in education who meet specific academic and professional requirements.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 with 62 or more semester hour credits
- Minimum education GPA 3.75 with 12 or more education credits
Graduate
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75
- Minimum 6 semester hour credits
