The Red Folder

The Red Folder is a practical guide for faculty, staff and administrators to help Recognize, Respond to, and Refer students in distress. It describes common indicators of student distress that may be observed inside or outside of the classroom and offers guidance on the appropriate steps to connect students to the on-campus resources needed for support. The Red Folder also includes both emergent and non-emergent resources along with the contact information for those campus partners. This guide was developed by Brittany Rhoden, Title IX Coordinator and Director of Student Wellness Education, and she can be reached at SWE@hofstra.edu or 516-463-5841.
