A Medication Request Form must be filled out by your child's physician, and must either be sent into the camp office ahead of time or accompany the medication being dropped off.

Medication must be in the original container, including the label with your campers name, dosage, and the prescriber's name.

The Hofstra Summer Camp and Nassau BOCES partnership offers a wide range of programs designed to motivate young minds and propel career inspirations.

The Hofstra University Nassau BOCES partnership offers a wide selection of amazing learning opportunities for teens, featuring hands-on classes that provide real life and situational training that can jumpstart a successful career. A fantastic way to gain experience in a desired career or discipline, Hofstra Nassau BOCES programs have something for everyone.

These are full day programs in Outdoor Education. Coastal Exploration will take place at Caumsett State Historic Park, and the Outdoor Survival skills course will take place at Nassau BOCES Brookville Environmental Center. Both classes run from between 10am-3pm. If you opt to use Hofstra Summer Camps transportation camp, times will vary.

Offsite Camps: Long Island High School for the Arts

For Campers Entering Grades 7 - 11

For over forty-five years, the Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) has transformed the lives of young emerging artists from across Long Island through both its high school and summer programs. The Hofstra University/LIHSA summer partnership provides an unparalleled experience for students in Grades 7-12 to be guided by faculty mentors and staff who understand the unique needs of young artists.

These classes are held on the LIHSA campus. LIHSA’s facilities are specially designed to support the school’s mission. LIHSA’s 38,000 square feet across three buildings are filled with professional workspaces and facilities. It is situated on 4.5 acres in Syosset Long Island, with plenty of courtyard space to have a picnic lunch and draw artistic inspiration. With four dance studios on campus, a larger theatre that holds 350 audience members with lighting and sound equipment, two smaller black box theatres, an audio-recording studio, numerous classroom spaces, practice rooms, art studios, film editing room, dark room, digital music space and a carpentry shop for scenic design, it is a great place to spend for a young artist to spend their summer!

Programs are flexible—choose to enroll in a one week offering or combine several to be on campus for all four weeks! Programs take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuition price is listed with each course. Offsite Camps: Long Island High School for the Arts (Junior Programs)

These camps take place at Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) and are open to campers entering grades 3-6. Both programs take place June 30 - July 11 (Session 1).
Please note that transportation and lunch are included for these Junior programs
