What is the Senior Class Gift?

This enduring tradition invites seniors to give back to Hofstra is support of undergraduate education. Gifts help provide financial aid to current and future students, fund student activities, support faculty, and improve life at Hofstra. This is not just a senior event—it’s a commitment that begins a lifetime of involvement with Hofstra, and is the first step in the transition from student to alum.

Why should I give?

The Fund for Hofstra University is a vital source of unrestricted funds that help the University to attract the best and brightest students through scholarships and financial aid, expand academic offerings, recruit and support accomplished faculty and staff, and enhance classrooms and other campus facilities with the latest technologies.

What do I give?

Graduating seniors are asked to make a minimum gift of $20.26 in honor of the senior class and receive a philanthropy cord to wear at graduation.
