WELCOME WEEK 2026

Thursday, August 27 – Sunday August 30, 2026

Hofstra University’s Welcome Week is a dynamic, weeklong series of events designed to introduce you to campus life, academic expectations, University traditions, and the many resources available to support your success. Throughout the week, you’ll take part in academic, social, athletic, and community programs that help you get to know Hofstra and become an active member of the community.

As part of the Hofstra community, you’ll gain access to campus resources, more than 200 student clubs and organizations, and the cultural, social, and professional opportunities of the New York metropolitan area.
