WELCOME WEEK STAFF

Become A Welcome Week Leader

Want to make a difference while meeting new people and building your leadership skills? Welcome Week Leaders (WWLs) are at the heart of helping new students feel at home at Hofstra. As a WWL, you’ll guide incoming students through their first days on campus, lead fun activities, and help create an exciting and welcoming start to their college experience.

What does a Welcome Week Leader (WWL) do?

Welcome Week Leaders help new students feel welcomed, supported, and connected during their first days at Hofstra. As a WWL, you’ll play an important role in shaping the first impression of the Hofstra community.

What are the requirements?

Training will be led by Welcome Week Coordinators and campus partners to prepare WWLs with important information, resources, and contacts to support new students. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with fellow WWLs before Welcome Week begins.
