Professor Yao Chu received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics and was formerly Einstein Fellow at Stony Brook University, and was Guest Scientist at Stony Brook University and The Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen Denmark (the Institute is named after Niels Bohr, who theorized the Bohr Atomic Model). His research is in Extended Thomas-Fermi (ETF) model in Nuclear Physics and use of Computer Algebra Systems in Education. He has taught thousands of students in math and science at both the graduate and undergraduate levels over the years. He currently is also Adjunct Professor at NYU.
