Eric Rowland
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Degrees
PHD, 2009, Rutgers University; BA, 2003, Univ Calif Santa Cruz
Bio
Eric Rowland is primarily interested in arithmetic properties of integer sequences that arise in combinatorial settings. This area involves a nice mix of number theory, combinatorics, and theoretical computer science. Before joining the faculty at Hofstra, he held postdoctoral positions at Tulane University, the University of Waterloo, the University of Quebec at Montreal, and the University of Liege.
