STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is evolving into STEAM (STEM + Art and Design) because today’s K-12 students need to be prepared for the future workforce and educators must find creative ways to integrate the 3Rs with the 4Cs (collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity). Arts education teaches young people many of the integral skills needed to thrive in the 21st century workplace. Hofstra Summer Camps and Saturday Classes for Young People are proud to support the STEM/STEAM movement and have created many fun and innovative new programs to help young people prepare for the future.
