Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.

Visit Hofstra from wherever you are in the world! Your experience will begin with a virtual information session and an introduction to academic life at Hofstra. Next, you’ll take a virtual campus tour with one of our Pride Guides (student tour guides). During the virtual tour, you will have the opportunity to experience Hofstra’s Student Center, a residence hall, and many of the academic facilities available to undergraduate students. Combined, this visit will help you discover if Hofstra is a place you can call home.

Auditions

The Hofstra Cheerleading program is a nationally recognized co-ed squad. The squad promotes school spirit for the University’s athletic teams, such as the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Cheer performances are also requested at University festivals and admission events. See when tryouts will be held.

An audition is required for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance. Additionally, students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Dance will audition for placement in technique classes, and to determine Activity Grant awards. Get more information.

The Hofstra University Dance Team is an exciting and competitive collegiate dance team that performs at University athletic events as well as other events held on and off campus. See when tryouts will be held.

A portfolio review is required for students interested in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Production.
