Media at the Debate

Media Information

Credentialing information is available through the Commission on Presidential Debates, on their website, www.debates.org.  You will need a CPD-issued credential to access the media filing center and the debate site.  CPD credentials closes on Friday, September 14, 2012.

However, there are many activities and programs happening on the Hofstra University campus outside the debate perimeter, including community and student watch parties, panel and lectures with expert guests and faculty, student forums, for which a CPD/USSS debate credential is NOT required.  You must have a Hofstra-issued Campus Media Credential to cover these events.  For a campus credential, please apply here by October 10, 2012: www.hofstra.edu/campuscredentials If you have a CPD-issued debate credential, you do NOT need a Hofstra campus media credential.
