At the end of each academic year the Division of Student Affairs takes time to recognize the accomplishments and hard work of its staff. All members of the division come together to celebrate the past year and to look with excitement at the year ahead. There are five awards presented each year in the categories of: Unsung Hero, Friend of the Division, Teamwork, Most Successful Event, and the The Peter J. Libman Spirit of Hofstra Award.
The 2021 recipients are:

- Most Successful Event: New Student Orientation 2020
- The Peter J. Libman Spirit of Hofstra Award: Anita Ellis, Director of Commuting Student Services and Community Outreach
The 2020 recipients are:

- Friend of the Division: Information Technology Services
- Teamwork: DSA Operations Team
- Most Successful Event: First-Generation Family Dinners
- The Peter J. Libman Spirit of Hofstra Award: Teresa Whitfield, Resident Director, Enterprise and Estabrook Halls
- 2020 DSA Unprecedented Achievement Award: Office of Residence Life
