- Online Summer Housing Application goes live on Monday, April 20, 2026. Sign on to your portal to apply.
- Students looking to reside in Summer Housing in Constitution Hall should complete and submit their 2026 Summer Housing Application by Friday, May 1, 2026, through their Hofstra portal at my.hofstra.edu. Students interested in purchasing a summer dining dollars contract must complete and submit a Summer Dining Dollars Application.
- Students who intend to reside on campus during the summer and are working for a department that is covering their summer housing cost MUST complete the Summer Housing Request Form and submit it to the Office of Residence Life. Requests for housing stipends will be reviewed and approved through the Office of Student Employment, and any costs not covered will be the responsibility of the student who is applying for housing.
- Groups or conferences looking for additional information regarding accommodations should contact Conference Services at conferenceservices@hofstra.edu.
All payments must be processed at the Office of Student Financial Services (Room 206 Memorial Hall, South Campus) or via the Hofstra portal. Checks should be made payable to Hofstra University.
NOTE: Students who intend to reside in summer housing for multiple sessions MUST be in good financial standing prior to being allowed to take occupancy for the upcoming summer term (e.g., a student residing in Summer Session I housing must have cleared up their account before being allowed to reside in summer housing for Summer Session II).
Submitting Your Summer Dining Dollars Application
Students interested in purchasing a summer dining plan must complete and submit a Summer Dining Dollars Application (with new link for 2026 once created). To submit your summer dining dollars application, please complete the form and submit it to the Office of Residence Life.
Submitting Your Summer Housing Application
Students interested in living on campus for the entire summer must submit a Summer Housing Application for each individual term. The summer terms are 202606 (Summer Session I), 202607 (Summer Session II), 202608 (Summer Session III). Students are not required to pay a housing deposit to submit their Summer Housing Application. Follow the steps below to submit your Summer Housing Application.
- Log into my.hofstra.edu and go to the “Residence Life Room Application”
- Click on Complete your Housing Application
- Select the term for which you are applying (e.g., 202606 for SSI, 202607 for SSII, or 2026508 for SSIII).
- Complete the housing application.
Submitting Your Summer Housing Application
Session I move-over date | Monday, May 18 (3-9 p.m.) – for residential and commuting students. Some students will be advised to move earlier should their summer space be available to avoid conflict with graduation |
Session I move-out date | Thursday, June 18 (6-9 p.m. for students taking a 4-week class) |
Session II move-in date | Tuesday, June 23 (6-9 p.m.) |
Session II move-out date | Thursday, July 23 (9 a.m.-noon for students taking a 4-week class) |

Session III move-out date | Saturday, August 22 (9 a.m.-noon) (for students who do not have a fall 2026 housing assignment) |
